Call for papers

Submission guidelines

Submissions to the conference will be in the form of an extended abstract of maximum 2 pages (including text, references and figures + tables). Please use the provided template. All papers should be submitted through the online form linked below.

After the submission deadline, all submissions will be reviewed by the program committee. Notification of acceptance will be given by January 31, 2026. All accepted abstracts will be included in the conference book distributed to registered attendees. Please make sure you submit an abstract that is ready for viewing. All presenters will be required to register for the conference by April 15 2026. Presenters, who have not registered by this date, will not be included in the conference program. Please note that multiple presentations by a single delegate are not allowed.

Selected oral presentations will be recommended for publication in the IWA journal Water Science and Technology (based on the evaluation by the program committee and session chairs, please see the “Publication” link for details). The committee will also select a few of the best poster presentations during the conference.

Publication

The IWA Particle Separation Conference is pleased to be collaborating with IWA Publishing journal Water Science and Technology.

Selected papers from oral presentations will be reviewed for publication in Water Science & Technology, upon request.
